Custom Prenatals

Custom Prenatals - Condensed Birth Prep Package

It’s a choose your adventure! We can cover as little or as many of these topics as you want. We can do as many prenatals as you need to feel confident. More than 4 prenatals will bring a $50 an hour charge, but if there is more you want to go over I can send materials for you to read and learn about virtually as well as answer any questions over text or Marco Polo.

Topics can include:

  • Birth processing and questions answer session (to the best of my ability) from your previous birth. I can also help you get your medical records if you’d like to better understand that experience.

  • Exercise and nutrition for a healthy pregnancy and trauma recovery
    — I use a “good, better, best” approach to meet you where you’re at and offer flexible, supportive guidance that fits your real life

—There is SUCH a link between exercise and nutrition and mental health, and many of the points bleed into pregnancy health and wellness as well

  • Encouraging optimal fetal positioning to help baby settle into a smoother path for birth

  • Movement and positioning in labor (yes, even with an epidural!) to help baby navigate your pelvis more easily, REGARDLESS of the position they end up choosing!

  • Postpartum and lactation planning what to expect, how to prepare, how to set boundaries with family, and resources to help you

    — This one will take up a whole session to have enough time for the breastfeeding class and postpartum planning

  • Hospital policies, interventions, and newborn procedures
    — What’s evidence-based, what varies by hospital or provider, and how to feel more prepared (especially if your last birth felt rushed or confusing)

  • Homebirth preparation and hospital vs. home comparison
    — What to expect, how to decide, and how to prepare if you're planning or considering a homebirth this time

  • Hands-on comfort techniques for unmedicated birth
    — Taught with your *partner so you both feel confident and connected

  • Pharmacological pain management options
    — The risks, benefits, and what’s right for you

  • Creating a one-page “Birth Road Map”
    — A clear, respectful way to communicate your needs to your nurse, OB, or midwife - while allowing for flexibility and nuance

If there’s something else you want to go over—just let me know! These prenatals are for you, and I’m here to support whatever’s on your heart or mind.

*Partners are always welcome and invited!

What Kind of Births Do I Support?

  • Homebirth

    Unmedicated? I got your back!

Planning an unmedicated birth? You’ll need more than grit—you need strategy, support, and informed preparation.

As a trauma-informed birth professional trained in physiologic labor, pain management without medication, and evidence-based positioning techniques, I offer guidance rooted in research and tailored to your body and goals.

    We’ll use:
Labor positions that optimize fetal rotation and descent
Comfort measures like counterpressure, hydrotherapy, acupressure, and movement
Vocalization and breathing techniques to regulate your nervous system
Partner coaching so they have the chance to “doula” right alongside me!
Prenatal alignment exercises that support pelvic balance and space
Contingency planning so you feel calm and prepared even if birth takes an unexpected turn

Together, we’ll build a realistic and flexible unmedicated birth plan that honors your preferences while preparing you for the full scope of labor physiology.

You’ll walk into your birth feeling informed, supported, and physically ready—not just hoping it will go well, but knowing you’ve trained for it.

  • Baby hospital birth

    Epidural? Yes please!

Planning an epidural? You’re still an active part of your birth—every step of the way.

Everything I teach for unmedicated birth—like comfort techniques, movement, and emotional support—can absolutely support you before and after your epidural is placed. Choosing pain relief doesn’t mean stepping back from your birth—it just means choosing the tools that work best for you.

Once your epidural is placed and working well, I’ll continue to support you with:

Position changes every 30 minutes (excluding rest time), based on your baby’s station and position in the pelvis to support rotation and descent

Epidural friendly labor enhancers like acupressure (NOT acupuncture), fascia release, massage, essential oils, and environmental tools to help you feel safe

    Dim lights

Soft music, affirmations, or guided relaxation

    Twinkle lights or LED candles

Warmth, humor, or helping you capture a moment of you talk to baby before their born

  • VBAC/TOLAC? Let's do it, girl!

Planning a VBAC? You’re not alone.
Did you know that up to 90% of c-section mamas are eligible for a VBAC?

I’ve completed the Evidence Based Birth® course on VBACs and have helpful handouts I’d love to share!

    Together, we can:
    • Find a truly VBAC-friendly provider (not just one who “allows” it)
    • Review your medical records and unpack what led to your previous cesarean
    • Understand the evidence around VBAC safety and success
Optimize your chances with movement, positioning, and support strategies
    • Work through fear and emotional blocks that might show up during labor

    • Talk through what happens if a cesarean becomes the safest option—decide ahead of time what you'd need to feel okay, make a gentle cesarean plan, and prepare for a supported recovery

VBAC planning takes nuance and care—let’s build a strategy that supports your goals.
